Pongetti Farms and Christmas Air Strip!

We have been learning about our community and got to explore our Ag community today! Many thanks to Pongetti Farms and to the Christmas Air Strip for teaching us about the crops that are grown around us and the Ag planes that help them grow. We learned lots and made sweet memories with our friends!! 

We learned about corn, wheat, rice, and soybeans! Mr. Pongetti taught us that crops can be used to feed people and animals.

Next, we went to the Christmas Air Service where Mr. Christmas taught us what his air tractor can do. He can spread seed, fertilize, and spray chemicals. He even flew in the air to show how close he flies to the ground when he sprays!
